I, ____________________, pledge that, if elected or appointed to public office, I will use every lawful authority available to me to remove, repeal, rename, replace, or reverse any official action that places Donald J. Trump’s name, likeness, signature, image, or personal branding on public buildings, monuments, infrastructure, government programs, currency, coins, passports, identification documents, vessels, geographic features, public lands, or any other government-owned, government-issued, or publicly funded property.
I further pledge to oppose and vote against any future proposal intended to name, rename, or dedicate public property or an official government program in his honor. Where removal requires legislation, regulation, appropriations, or cooperation with another governmental body, I will actively support and pursue the necessary action.
This pledge concerns honorary, commemorative, and promotional uses of Donald Trump’s name or likeness. It does not require altering archival materials, court records, historical documents, or other records necessary to preserve an accurate account of American history.
Public institutions belong to the people and should not be used to glorify Donald Trump or perpetuate his personal brand. I therefore make this commitment to the voters without reservation.
